Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: HA8
Salary: GBP80 – GBP100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

About the Role as a Teaching Assistant:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in a vibrant learning environment. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in education or planning to undertake teacher training in the future.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Helping to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
About You:
• A graduate with a degree in any discipline (preferably in education, psychology, or a related field).
• Passionate about working with children and committed to their development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, especially when working with SEN students.
• Previous experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, or voluntary roles) is desirable but not essential.
