Qualifications

• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their educational skills and make a positive difference to the lives of secondary school pupils.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist with classroom learning, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills. Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation across secondary year groups.

• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Will Have

• A willingness to learn and develop within a school environment.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
