Job summary

KPI Education is seeking ambitious graduates to join its teaching-support teams in Lambeth, South London. The Graduate Teaching Assistant will work across KS3–KS4 in English, Maths, Science and Humanities, starting September 2026, with a salary of £25,000–£30,000 per year.

This role offers excellent classroom experience, hands-on support for teachers, and a clear pathway into teacher training, including potential salaried routes and permanent positions across London secondary schools.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 or above in English, Maths, Science or a Humanities subject (2:2 considered with strong experience)
• A genuine passion for education and working with young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ambition to train as a teacher in the future
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• The right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable)

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in your specialist subject across KS3 & KS4
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups and individual students
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery
• Build confidence, engagement and attainment in your subject area
• Become an integral member of a successful secondary school department
• Gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training
