Ortus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a partnered primary school in Merton. You will support pupils with lessons, assist the classroom teacher, and deliver 1:1 and small-group sessions to help each child reach their full potential. The role requires empathy, energy, and a proactive, supportive approach to diverse learners.

• Face to face experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Experience with SEN children preferred.
• Passion for working with students with diverse needs.
• Ability to communicate well with people from all backgrounds.
• Proactive, kind, dedicated personality.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Engage in 1:1 and group session with children.
• Help children with their homework or class tasks.
• Set up and clean the classroom throughout the day.
• Support children with their physical, mental, emotional and social health.
• Communicate with the children, parents and other teachers within the school.
• Help with creating new activities to keep the children interested and make everyday exciting for them.
