Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a primary school setting? Are you considering a future in teaching or education?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Lancaster, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain first-hand classroom experience before pursuing teacher training, with support and guidance every step of the way.

• Supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis

• Assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons under the guidance of the class teacher

• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum

• A graduate (in any subject) with a genuine interest in working with children

• Passionate about education and helping young learners thrive

• Confident, patient, and proactive

• A team player with excellent communication skills

• Experience with children (through tutoring, volunteering, mentoring, etc.) is desirable but not essential

• Full-time, term-time only role - perfect for gaining experience before PGCE or teacher training
