Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Hackney, London

Are you a recent graduate looking to begin your career in education? A Vibrant school with and Ofsted “Good” rating located in Hackney, London is seeking a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic graduate teaching assistant to join their team.

About the role:

As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, particularly for students with any additional needs.
  • Help students achieve their learning and personal development goals.
  • Support students during break and lunch times.

Person specification:

  • previous experience working with children or in a school environment.
  • Can build strong relationships with students and staffs.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols and prioritise student safety.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
