Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent or soon-to-be graduate looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting.

Responsibilities
  • Support classroom teaching and manage group activities.
  • Assist with planning and preparing learning materials.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional learning needs where required.
  • Liaise with teachers to monitor student progress and assist with assessments.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor\'s degree (of any kind) - candidates must either be nearing completion of their degree or have already graduated.
  • Ideally, prior experience working with children or in an educational environment (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or volunteer roles).
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude.
