Job summary

KPI Education, in partnership with a high-achieving North West London secondary school, seeks bright graduates to become Graduate Teaching Assistants. Start ASAP or January 2027, with a salary of £26,000–£30,000 and valuable school-based experience.

You will support KS3/KS4 pupils, deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, and have potential pathways into teacher training from September 2027, with outstanding mentorship and long-term opportunities in education.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above from a strong university.

Responsibilities

• Support KS3 and KS4 students to raise attainment.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Collaborate with subject teachers to raise attainment and engagement.
• Support pupils with SEN or other learning needs.
• Build positive relationships and inspire classroom confidence.
• Gain hands-on experience in classroom management and lesson delivery.

The Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4, helping them achieve their academic potential.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Work closely with subject teachers to raise attainment and engagement.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN.
• Build positive relationships and inspire confidence in the classroom.
• Gain hands-on experience of classroom management, lesson delivery and student development.

Who Are We Looking For?

We want graduates with ambition, personality and a genuine passion for education.

2:1 degree or above is preferred, particularly from a Russell Group or other academically strong university.

• Graduates in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Humanities and related subjects are especially encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage young people.
• A positive attitude, resilience and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but
• A genuine interest in teaching, SEN, educational psychology or a long-term career in education.

No PGCE? No QTS? No previous Teaching Assistant experience? No problem!
