Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to join welcoming secondary schools in Eccles, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 on a one-to-one, small-group and classroom basis. Roles available on a full-time or part-time basis, with a daily rate of up to £115 in Eccles.

This is ideal for recent graduates exploring careers in teaching, education, psychology, youth work or support roles. You’ll work with supportive staff, contribute to student wellbeing and help pupils progress.

Qualifications

• A recent university degree - all degree subjects considered.
• Based in or able to commute to Eccles.
• A genuine interest in working with children and young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 on a one-to-one, small-group and classroom basis
• Working alongside class teachers to support learning, engagement and progress
• Helping deliver catch-up and intervention sessions, particularly within Maths, English or Science
• Supporting students with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs
• Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging their confidence and independence
• Providing general classroom and pastoral support where required
