Location: High Peak
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £89 – £100 per day

An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before training to teach. This role is based in a supportive High Peak secondary school and is ideal for graduates in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.

  • Provide targeted academic support to individuals and small groups.

  • Assist in classroom management and behaviour support.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Gain experience in planning, assessment, and intervention work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
