Graduate Teaching Assistant
Abergavenny, Gwent, Monmouthshire and surrounding areas
Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities Available

Are you a recent graduate looking to make a real difference in the educational sector? We are seeking passionate and energetic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our diverse and dynamic team in Abergavenny, Gwent and the wider Monmouthshire region. This is an incredible opportunity for university graduates who are exploring career options in teaching, educational support, and youth mentorship roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning activities and provide targeted support to individual students or small groups.
  2. Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Facilitate sports and outdoor educational activities, encouraging student participation and engagement.
  4. Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress and contribute to their overall development.
  5. Provide behaviour support to students, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
  6. Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions.
About You:
  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  2. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Be highly adaptable and able to work with students from varied backgrounds and with different needs.
  4. Have a genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young minds.
  5. Previous experience in a support worker or teaching assistant role is advantageous but not essential.
  6. Able to work in multiple sites across Monmouthshire and surrounding areas.
