Graduate Teaching Assistant - Hounslow - West London
Start Date: 1st September - 95 per day One-year position

An Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Hounslow, West London, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from 1st September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and high-performing school community while developing valuable classroom experience. Ideal for aspiring teachers, this one-year role will give you insight into school life, curriculum delivery, and pastoral support.

About the Role:

  • Full-time, term-time only position from September 2025 - July 2026
  • Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stages 3-5)
  • Working 1:1 and with small groups of students, including those with additional needs
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and student progress tracking
  • Providing pastoral support and building positive relationships with pupils

The Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant Will:

  • Hold a minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree (any subject considered)
  • Have a genuine interest in education and working with young people
  • Be proactive, resilient, and eager to learn
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
