As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering the design, development, integration, and testing of complex systems for a diverse range of clients. This role offers the opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge to real-world challenges while gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.

You’ll work under the guidance of experienced engineers who will support your development and help you build a strong foundation in systems engineering. You Will

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully complete all identified training both in-house and external, as required.
  • Assist in the creation of system architectures, designs, and specifications.
  • Help integrate various subsystems and components to form a cohesive system.
  • Participate in system testing and validation activities to ensure performance meets requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Participate in technical discussions with the project teams and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Be required to support on commissioning at client sites under the supervision of experienced engineers.
  • Support in procurement activities as required.
  • Be actively involved in the manufacture, assembly and testing of bespoke systems under the supervision of the workshop team.
  • Suggest changes and improvements if opportunities arise.
  • Engage in continuous learning to develop technical skills and knowledge relevant to system integration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with any other duties reasonably requested and in line with the requirements of the role.

Summary Of Requirements

We are looking for:

Experience And Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
  • HND or equivalent in Electrical/Control Engineering or a related field.

Skills And Abilities

  • A full UK driving licence or indication of working towards one.
