Job Title: Graduate Support Worker

Location: Romford, East London

Daily Rate: £85 £100 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in education or psychology?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and compassionate graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive school setting in Romford.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Support Worker, you ll be working closely with students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum, manage their emotions, and build independence. You will support both in the classroom and in small group or 1:1 settings under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH

  • Assist with classroom activities, learning resources, and behaviour management

  • Support emotional regulation and build trusting relationships with pupils

  • Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and intervention plans

Ideal for Graduates With:
  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • A genuine passion for working with children with SEN

  • Strong communication, empathy, and resilience

  • A desire to pursue a career in teaching, educational psychology, or therapy
