Are you someone who loves technology and is eager to kickstart your journey into software engineering? We have an exciting opening for a Graduate Support & Python Engineer who is passionate about tackling challenges and helping clients. In this role, you will provide top-notch technical assistance while also engaging in Python development to enhance our software solutions.

As a Graduate Support & Python Engineer 2025, you will not only address client inquiries and technical issues but also gain valuable insights into the intricate workings of complex software systems. This position offers a unique pathway for aspiring software engineers to immerse themselves in the complexities of financial technology. You’ll have the opportunity to develop, refine, and implement Python scripts and applications that drive innovation within our organization.

In addition to developing your problem-solving skills through client interactions, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to contribute to ongoing projects and enhancements. The Scheme

Our graduate scheme is a full-time programme designed to equip candidates with the skills they need to successfully develop the next generation of RegTech solutions. As part of our graduate cohort, you will gain exposure to and work on projects which are transforming the regulatory reporting landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Work along side Suade engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot customer technical problems.
  • Work actively in designing the solutions to customer technical problems.
  • Design solutions to automate/streamline (internal and external) processes.
  • Participate in the full application lifecycle: write, test, deploy and maintain features.

Good to have

  • Experience with developer collaborative tools (GitHub/Gitlab etc.).
  • Experience working with XML (with xLink) or XBRL.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development.
  • Experience with Linux, Docker.
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
