Overview

Our client, a long-established and successful business, is seeking a Graduate Supply Chain professional to join their Logistics team at their Head Office in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in logistics and supply chain management. In this role, you will play a key part in planning global transport routes, ensuring goods are shipped and received within agreed timescales, while maintaining cost efficiency and service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal departments to arrange timely shipment of goods
  • Plan and coordinate loads and shipments worldwide
  • Manage the claims process with shipping lines and insurers
  • Negotiate transport solutions to achieve cost efficiencies and maximise profit
  • Produce regular performance and shipment reports
  • Act as the main point of contact throughout the transportation process
Ideal Candidate
  • Degree-qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • Previous work experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Understanding of global shipping routes and export documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
