As a Graduate Buyer, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the procurement function, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, business management, or business administration
• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for various categories of goods and services
• Participate in the request for proposal (RFP) process, including the preparation of RFP documents, evaluation of supplier proposals, and supplier selection
• Support contract negotiation and management activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Assist in the development and implementation of supplier performance management programs
• Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance procurement knowledge and skills
