We’re looking for talented engineering graduates to help us transition to a greener energy future. This immersive, paid experience provides in-depth understanding of substation engineering through diverse projects, from project planning to commissioning.

After two years, you will qualify for a full-time Substation Engineer role. Your decisions will impact electricity transmission across England and Wales, supporting renewable energy integration and system reliability.
Minimum 2:2 degree in electrical principles, such as electrical engineering, power systems, or electronics. Valid UK driving license required.
Based in West London, with travel across the region. Must reside within 30 minutes of postcode KT15 3LA.
We recruit on a rolling basis; early applications are encouraged. Assessment centres are scheduled for WC 30th September 2024 in Eakring, Nottinghamshire. Successful candidates start in January 2025.
Starting salary: £33,154 (Bachelor’s) or £34,360 (Master’s). Includes a £2,000 bonus, holiday entitlement, a £2,400 completion payment, cost of living allowance, pension, share schemes, flexible benefits, mentorship, and professional accreditation.
