Job summary

RGB Network is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer for Temporary Works and Piling/Foundations in Manchester. This permanent role offers full training and a clear path to chartered status. You will join the geotechnics and structural analysis teams to work on propping, pile design, and deep excavation support.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and have an interest in geotechnical engineering. UK work eligibility is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Interest in Geotechnical Engineering including pile design, SI interpretation and deep excavation support.
• Full training provided and chartership training scheme to achieve status.
• Eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on Geotechnics with Structural Analysis and design, including bespoke steelwork connections.
• Contribute to propping design for temporary works and piling foundations.
• Support major projects such as deep basement propping.
• Join an industry-leading chartership training programme to achieve chartered status.
