Job summary

The Whittan Group in Telford is seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our design team. You will develop concept and detailed structural schemes for cold-formed steel storage solutions, working with Sales and Design colleagues and contributing to product testing and software tool development.

You should be a recent graduate with an engineering degree (MEng/BEng/BSc) in Structural or Civil Engineering, with strong communication skills and knowledge of steelwork design codes and

• Graduate with an engineering degree (MEng/BEng/BSc) in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Demonstrate an understanding of steelwork design codes and CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concept and detailed structural solutions for storage schemes ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations per relevant standards.
• Present and explain calculations clearly to stakeholders and support product testing and data analysis.
• Lead development of conceptual and detailed structural schemes and contribute to software tooling.
