Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Cardiff invites applications for a Graduate Structural Engineer as part of its Autumn 2027 Evolve graduate programme. This two-year scheme focuses on on-the-job learning in structural analysis and design across new-build and refurbishment projects, with multidisciplinary collaboration and mentorship.

Our two-year Evolve graduate programme develops and supports the next generation of Built Environment professionals. As a Graduate Structural Engineer at Ridge you will benefit from on-the-job learning experiences while working on new-build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors. You’ll build practical experience in structural analysis and design, developing engineering solutions in a range of materials and coordinating designs with the wider project team. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors, gaining a rounded understanding of how successful projects are developed and delivered.

• I have or am predicted a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a closely related degree obtained in 2026/2027, or I hold a bachelor’s degree in another subject together with a relevant Master’s degree
• I am available to start work full-time from September 2027
