JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for a permanent role based in Leicester. The position offers £28,000–£30,000 per annum and a clear pathway toward professional chartership, within a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy.

You will work on structural design for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects, assist with calculations, drawings and site visits, and benefit from mentorship and a collaborative environment to develop technical

Qualifications

• MEng or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong academic background.
• Interest in building structures and engineering design.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated to work towards IStructE and/or ICE Chartership.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the design of structural solutions for a range of building projects.
• Producing engineering calculations and technical reports.
• Supporting the preparation of drawings and design documentation.
• Undertaking site visits and inspections.
• Working alongside senior engineers to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Liaising with architects, contractors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
