Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support project requirements.
• Prepare detailed calculation packs for tenders and technical submissions.
• Provide technical assistance and support to Senior Engineers.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to project coordination and problem-solving.
• Develop and maintain project design models using software.

Hunter Selection is working with a well-established engineering consultancy seeking to expand its team with a Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual eager to develop within a supportive and innovative environment.

You will join a respected team working on a diverse range of structural and infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard design software, exposure to live projects, and mentorship from experienced Senior Engineers to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support project requirements.
• Prepare detailed calculation packs for tenders and technical submissions.
• Provide technical assistance and support to Senior Engineers.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Structural Engineering.

Desirable Skills (not essential):

• Familiarity with building modelling tools (e.g., Revit, Building Designer).
• Knowledge of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
• Experience with Innovyze Civil Drainage Design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
