Emtech Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a North West multidisciplinary consultancy, based in Liverpool or Manchester. You will work on a varied range of structural design projects and receive support toward Chartered Engineer status.

The role offers a full-time permanent position with exposure to Eurocodes, steel, concrete and timber design, and training and CPD to support your professional progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM).
• Some UK-based structural engineering consultancy design experience.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• A full UK driving licence and CSCS card would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures.
• Supporting projects from design through to delivery.
• Using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and Quikport.
• Preparing structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Undertaking structural surveys, appraisals and inspections.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
