Job summary

Emtech Recruitment is partnering with a North West based multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will engage in structural design across materials, perform analyses, and prepare calculations, drawings and reports.

You’ll work closely with colleagues and clients to support projects from design through to delivery. The role offers training towards Chartered Engineer status, ongoing CPD and a strong emphasis on collaborative teamwork in a growing

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM).
• UK-based structural engineering consultancy design experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant design software.

Job description

Structural design and analysis of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures. Supporting projects from design through to delivery. Using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and Quikport. Preparing structural calculations, drawings and technical reports. Undertaking structural surveys, appraisals and inspections. Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM).
• Some previous UK-based structural engineering consultancy design experience.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant design software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• A full UK driving licence and CSCS card would be advantageous.
