They're seeking a motivated graduate engineer with practical experience in manufacturing, eager to advance their skills in structural design and analysis within a technically challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and structural development of lightweight aluminium fabrications.
  • Conduct Linear and Non-Linear Finite Element Analyses (FEA).
  • Use ANSYS to perform simulations, verify models, and deliver analytical insights to support design and production teams.
  • Apply Eurocode standards in all analysis and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the structural integrity and manufacturability of designs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in analysis processes and validation methods.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Previous employment experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Exposure to FEA (both Linear and Non-Linear), ideally using ANSYS.
  • Working knowledge of Eurocode standards.
  • A strong interest in metal fabrication, especially aluminium structures.
Desirable Experience
  • Understanding of weld design, fastening techniques, or fatigue analysis.
  • Familiarity with buckling and large deformation simulations.
  • Experience within defence, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industries.
