Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What’s on Offer:
• Competitive weekly pay – up to £550 (term-time only)
• Start date: Immediate or September 2025
• Monday to Friday – full-time, long-term role
• Support across STEM subjects – Maths, Science, and/or Computing
• Help prepare students for GCSEs through targeted interventions
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Your Role:
• Work with KS3 and KS4 pupils in STEM lessons
• Deliver small group and one-to-one sessions in Maths, Science, or Computing
• Assist in planning and delivering interactive, practical STEM activities
• Build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in students
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to drive progress
Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Ideal Candidate:
• Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM discipline (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• Passion for education and motivating young people
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Experience with young people (mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is beneficial
• Positive, adaptable, and committed to making a difference
