Job summary

Stantec invites you to join our Taunton office as a Graduate Stakeholder Engagement Consultant, part of the 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop engagement strategies, support communities, and gain exposure to diverse clients and sectors.

Based in Taunton, you’ll contribute to consultation delivery, social research, and reporting while developing your stakeholder engagement and communication skills under experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Geography, Journalism, Economics (or equivalent).
• Strong interest in Stakeholder Engagement and community development.
• Willing to work four days per week in Taunton office.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings with technical specialists and external stakeholders.
• Track project actions and support delivery of outputs.
• Assist with reporting, digital engagement platforms, and social media research.
• Support production of consultation materials and event content.
• Organise and attend in-person and virtual engagement events.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform recommendations.
• Contribute to newsletters and stakeholder communications.
• Manage digital engagement platforms such as Commonplace.
