As a sports trader, you will work in a fast-paced environment which will sharpen your sports knowledge. The UK-based trading function will be fully responsible for the expert trading of core non-US Sports, including Soccer, Tennis, European Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby Union, etc. We will also collaborate continuously with the trading team in Las Vegas, providing high levels of expert support for traditional US sports.

As a Graduate Sports Trader, you will report directly to one of the Team Leaders, depending on your sporting knowledge. You will be responsible for trading all sports under the UK remit, while supporting the US trading teams. You will have a direct impact on revenue generation and profitability, focusing on in-depth analysis, collaboration with development teams, and working with senior management to develop internal systems, processes, and models.

Our shifts are flexible to suit regular sports fixtures and major competitions, typically busiest during evenings and weekends. You'll have the opportunity to use your sports knowledge and math skills while developing your career in the betting and gaming industry.

How you will grow with us:

• Leverage your sports expertise to price all events & markets under the UK remit, using our technology platform to make trading decisions.
• Use critical thinking to prioritize and resolve issues effectively and manage risk.
• Conduct analysis to improve profitability, operational processes, and offerings.
• Present analysis on trading opportunities, pricing strategies, model development, and customer profiling to leadership.
• Collaborate with trading teams in the UK & US to develop models, systems, and strategies to enhance the product and customer experience.
• Contribute to shaping the strategic direction and growth of the product.
• Assist with reporting as directed by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Grade A or B in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent).
• Excellent sporting knowledge, combined with strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new skills, systems, and technologies.
• Motivated, capable of working independently or in a team, with strong relationship-building skills.
• Effective decision-making skills to make quick, sound judgments under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or currently studying) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or Sports Science, or an equivalent technical field.
