Qualifications

Job description

DAC Beachcroft has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice within our Corporate, Banking, Insolvency and Tax team. This is a 30-month full-time contract based in our Bristol office, starting in early September.

Joining DAC Beachcroft as a Graduate Solicitor Apprentice offers a structured path to becoming a fully qualified solicitor, with comprehensive support through the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2). You'll gain hands-on experience in legal research, client interaction, document preparation, and case management. A dedicated study day each week with BPP University is provided.

All course and exam fees are covered, and you'll earn a competitive salary while you learn. The programme includes professional development opportunities with supervisors, mentors, and skills coaches. The day release study format ensures a balanced approach to work and study, supporting your legal career development.

The Corporate, Banking, Insolvency and Tax team at DAC Beachcroft is large and active, with a presence in Bristol and London. The team works on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate and finance transactions, insolvency, and advisory work. The work is project-based, involved, and engaging.

Our clients include major corporates and sectors such as healthcare, real estate, and financial services, expecting a high standard of service.

Requirements
  • A qualifying Law degree at a 2:1 or above, or a non-law degree at a 2:1 or above with a pass in GDL, PGDL, CPE, or equivalent completed in the last 5 years.
  • A minimum of BBB at A Level or equivalent; at least five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
