Graphcore is seeking a passionate graduate framework engineer to join its team in Bristol. The role involves designing and optimising software for machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, and candidates will actively learn while collaborating with talented engineers in a supportive environment that promotes continuous growth.

Reporting to a Team Lead in the frameworks team you will play an important role in designing, implementing, optimising, maintaining and supporting the software that ensures Graphcore hardware enjoys first-class support in popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
As a graduate framework engineer in our team you will learn what it is like to be part of a SCRUM team working on delivering new features, working on, e.g., performance optimisations, reviewing code changes, writing technical documentation, working with upstream communities and supporting users.
We have a very collaborative culture, and you will be in a position where you can learn from very talented engineers operating at the cutting edge of the machine learning industry. In our frameworks team we endeavour to offer the opportunity to do two “temporary rotations” during your graduate programme, so that you can also learn from other teams.
We are looking for a talented and passionate graduate to join the ML Frameworks team here at Graphcore. You are not expected to know everything when you start, but you are expected to be driven, pro-active and keen to learn. It is beneficial but not essential for candidates to have a working knowledge of C++, Python and AI/ML.
We are not looking for an instant expert but graduates with the hunger to learn, develop and contribute to Graphcore's future.
A tailored onboarding and induction programme, that will get you up to speed with life at Graphcore, including a deep understanding of how the business operates. During your induction technical specialists will host knowledge sharing sessions, providing you the opportunity to build your network.
Once in your team, you can expect hands on experience, in a supportive environment to promote your learning. A typical day would involve working closely with peers and your manager to solve challenges as they arise.
