Job summary

ECM Selection in Cambridge is seeking graduate or junior software engineers to join a small, growing team working on frontier AI and defence projects. You will contribute across the product portfolio, with exposure from cloud down to low-power electronics, and you will collaborate with engineers from electronics, physics, and software.

You do not need a fixed skill set; the team values curiosity, ability to learn quickly, and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 1st or 2:1 in a STEM subject from a top university (Oxbridge or Russell Group) with strong knowledge of software development evidenced through project work (personal or academic), or commercial placements
• Eager to learn new technologies or languages as well as adjacent engineering ideas from electronics and physics
• A problem-solving mentality, able to understand issues even outside of programming and provide analysis and potential solutions

Responsibilities

• Work across the product portfolio, contributing to ML systems, signal processing or software defined radio
• Collaborate on platforms ranging from cloud to small low-power electronics
• Learn and apply new technologies as needed to solve real-world problems
