Graduate Software Engineer – 2 Year Graduate Scheme

Milton Keynes

£35,000 + Benefits

T2M Resourcing are working exclusively with a growing engineering business that supplies the Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, and Defence sector with cutting edge products to recruit a Graduate Software Engineer.

As a Graduate Software Engineer, this role will develop control software for electric machines and power electronic solutions.

Key duties as a Graduate Software Engineer:

  1. Software development with embedded C and modelling tools – Simulink/MATLAB
  2. Software testing and validation
  3. Performing simulation/in-loop testing – HiL, SiL, MiL, and PiL
  4. Working closely with engineering and hardware teams
  5. Taking software and controls engineering requirements – managing using DOORs
  6. Understanding and working to standards such as ISO26262 and DO-178

Requirements to be successful as a Graduate Software Engineer:

  1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering – Electronics, Computer Science, or similar
  2. Fundamental knowledge of controls engineering principals
  3. Experience in hand coding Embedded C and/or Python
  4. Knowledge of engineering and software development processes
  5. Academic or professional use of engineering tools:
  6. MATLAB - Simulink
  7. Mathworks Embedded Coder
  8. dSPACE
  9. Jira
  10. DOORs
  11. Passion for engineering and technology
  12. Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  13. A team player able to collaborate with colleagues

Important Information:

This role is based in Milton Keynes and will be site based; candidate must be prepared to commute or relocate locally.

As this business works with defence projects, candidate must be able to secure security clearance and be a British or hold Dual British Nationality.
