Graduate Software Engineer – High-performance team

£50K + Bonus + Benefits + International exposure

A high-performance City-based team developing an industry-leading portfolio management system is looking to hire additional graduates for their 2025 intake.

You will work with a small, performance-driven team (7 people) to create solutions that solve complex business problems.

This role involves interfacing with all areas of the business (underwriting, actuarial, finance, investor relations) and provides opportunities to learn about catastrophe modelling, capital raising, loss simulation, and applying these learnings to your systems.

You will take ownership of projects early on, allowing you to innovate and be responsible for your solutions. As part of a small, high-performing team, your work will be visible and impactful, offering potential for rapid progression.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset. Curiosity about the wider business and eagerness to collaborate are essential.

The firm has specific requirements:

• Studied Computer Science or Computing at Top University
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills—language is not important; Python, Java, C++, C# are all acceptable. Elegant code is elegant code regardless of language.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Internship or placement experience (non-negotiable)
