Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain code, troubleshoot software issues, and fix bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews, conduct tests to ensure code quality, and contribute to quality assurance activities.
  • Work closely with senior developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional code.
  • Ensure that all code is well-documented and maintain documentation for existing systems and processes.
  • Continuously improve coding skills, stay updated with industry trends, and be proactive in learning new technologies and tools.
  • Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards.

About the candidate:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Some understanding of relational database design and experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, following instructions and contributing to group projects.
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Check clearance.
