Job summary

Protocol Education are seeking a Graduate SEND Support Mentor for a specialist SEND school in Gateshead. You will support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs to access learning, develop confidence and manage challenges in the classroom. No extensive SEND experience is required.

Graduate SEND Support Mentor – Gateshead

No extensive SEND experience? That's okay – your attitude matters.

A specialist SEND school in Gateshead is looking for a caring and enthusiastic graduate to join their team as a SEND Learning Mentor.

You’ll be supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and manage the challenges they may face in school.

Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

  • Helping deliver interventions
