Join Teaching Personnel as a SEN Teaching Assistant!

Are you a passionate graduate student looking to gain hands-on experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) education? Do you want to make a real impact in the lives of children with diverse learning needs? Do you want flexible, full-time or part-time work?

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join Teaching Personnel, working closely with fantastic Primary and Secondary SEN Schools across Lancashire. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and work in a supportive environment.

Location: All of Lancashire including Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Blackpool, East Lancashire
Hours: 08.30-3.30; Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Your Role:
  • Supporting students with a range of special educational needs in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting materials to students' needs
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils
  • Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Providing emotional and behavioral support where needed
What we are looking for:
  • A passion for working with children with SEN
  • A relevant qualification (or currently studying at postgraduate level) in Education, Psychology, SEN, or related fields
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • A proactive and positive attitude

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
