Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in North Manchester, supporting pupils within the school's dedicated SEN Hub.

This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become temp-to-perm. The school is keen to interview soon and start ASAP for the right candidate, with DBS on Update Service highly desirable. Previous experience with SEN or educational settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with children/young people or in education
• Strong interest in supporting pupils with SEN
• Relevant degree or strong educational background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• DBS on Update Service desirable (start ASAP)
• References covering last 2 years including academic/employment
