Step Into Teaching is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across core subjects in a Bournemouth primary school. This graduate scheme offers hands-on classroom experience before teacher training, with a clear pathway into teaching and mentoring throughout.

£425–£500 per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with potential for a full-time teaching opportunity after placement.

Qualifications

• Graduate with empathy, resilience and strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required for eligibility.
• No prior school experience required, but empathy and passion for supporting children are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist children with SEN needs.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO.
• Help manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
