Sector: Education and Training - Bristol

This SEN Behaviour Analyst position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in teaching children with Special Educational Needs. Based in Bristol, at a school for children aged 4-19 with autism, graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The role includes access to funded training and qualification opportunities in SEN education, providing diverse experience with children of varying ages and abilities. The school employs behaviour-driven teaching strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes and student development. You will work within small classes, both individually and in groups. As a SEN Behaviour Analyst, you will design, plan, and deliver teaching sessions to support pupils' learning, progression, and social-emotional development.

What do current employees say?

This school offers a unique environment compared to mainstream and many SEN schools. The Applied Behaviour Analysis approach helps staff understand pupil behaviours better and develop strategies to enhance pupils' happiness and achievement. The staff are very supportive, and there are numerous opportunities for learning and career progression, including advancing through study or roles such as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Senior Mental Health Lead. While the work can be challenging, it is highly rewarding to see pupils achieve even small milestones. - Billie
