As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and communication or emotional difficulties
Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning activities to meet individual needs
Help pupils develop vital skills such as confidence, communication, and independence
Support behaviour strategies and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Monitor progress and work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to ensure personalised support
We are seeking a dedicated graduate who:
Holds (or is on track for) a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related field
Has prior experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in schools, care settings, or through voluntary roles)
Is calm, patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach
Is genuinely interested in a long-term career in education, child development, or therapeutic support
Supportive and experienced leadership committed to your growth
Ongoing training and mentoring in SEN strategies and classroom practices
Clear pathways into teacher training or further educational roles
