About the Role:
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You'll provide one-to-one and small group support, help pupils access learning, develop communication and social skills, and play a vital role in promoting a positive, inclusive school environment.
What We're Looking For:
A recent graduate (or final year student) with a strong academic background
A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN
Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy and resilience
Previous experience working with children (voluntary, paid or personal) is desirable but not essential
An interest in psychology, education, social care or youth work would be an advantage
