The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Security & IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will gain broad exposure across IT and cybersecurity functions, helping to implement security measures that protect both ONYX Insight and our customers. You will focus on identifying and applying improvements to strengthen security posture while enabling secure and effective business operations. The role requires technical aptitude, familiarity with Linux, and a proactive approach to following and improving processes, offering an excellent foundation for a career in IT and cybersecurity.

What you’ll do:

Cloud Environment Management

• Assist with applying security configurations and hardening settings in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

• Support patching and firmware updates for cloud-connected customer systems.

• Maintain asset inventories and ensure cloud resources meet internal security baselines.

Monitoring and Incident Response

• Monitor security dashboards and escalate alerts when necessary.

• Assist in investigating low-level security incidents or access anomalies.

• Document and track issues using ticketing and incident management tools.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Support evidence gathering for audits and security assessments.

• Help review and update security policies and procedures.

• Assist with internal control checks for compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001.

Identity Management

• Execute joiner, mover, and leaver processes, including account creation and de-provisioning.

• Maintain role-based access controls and review user permissions.

• Support implementation of MFA and SSO across systems and tools.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate with customers regarding firmware updates and rollout schedules.

• Respond to customer queries on security configurations or compliance posture.

• Support onboarding processes for customer access to secure portals or services.

Ideally, you’ll have/be:

• A recent graduate or equivalent with a strong interest in IT and cybersecurity.

• Exposure to Linux is essential.

• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow and improve established processes.

• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
