Overview

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant — Location: Hillingdon. Contract: Full-time, Term-time only until July 2025. Pay: Up to £650 per week.

The Role

As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics alongside expert teachers
  • Deliver targeted support to students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams, boosting confidence and attainment
  • Run small group and 1:1 intervention sessions to close knowledge gaps
  • Assist with practical experiments, demonstrations, and lab organisation
  • Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to departmental planning

This position offers you the chance to gain invaluable classroom experience and develop your teaching skills before progressing to formal teacher training routes
