Are you a recent Science graduate looking to take your first step into education? Tradewind Recruitment is working with several welcoming secondary schools in Northampton offering exciting full-time opportunities for Science graduates to gain hands-on classroom experience starting October 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to support students in Science, gain invaluable school-based experience, and prepare for future teacher training routes such as a PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct programme.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Supporting the Science department in delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Leading small group or 1:1 intervention sessions to reinforce key scientific concepts
  • Assisting with classroom activities, practical experiments, and lesson planning
  • Helping to mark work and provide feedback under teacher guidance
  • Getting involved in wider school life, including STEM clubs, revision sessions, or science-themed enrichment
Who We're Looking For:
  • A recent Science graduate (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject) with a 2:2 degree or above
  • A clear communicator with a positive, supportive, and professional attitude
  • Someone with a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference
  • An aspiring teacher keen to gain school-based experience before applying for formal teacher training
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn within a school environment
