Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Graduate Sales Manager (Mechanical Engineer) in Bournemouth. You will be trained to sell bespoke equipment to manufacturing clients worldwide, covering a nationwide patch with travel across the globe.

You will generate leads, develop strategies, negotiate quotes, and demonstrate equipment at customer sites. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and full UK driving licence; standard hours Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, Friday 1pm finish; salary

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering graduate or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and business development in the UK and internationally.
• Strategic planning and market research to identify areas of business to target.
• Negotiate on price, quotes, specifications and client needs to ensure full customer satisfaction.
• Visit customer sites and demonstrate how to use the equipment/machines.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm - 1pm finish on Friday.

Are you a Graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar looking to kickstart your career within a manufacturing giant, offering technical hands on training of their specialist bespoke equipment, alongside travel opportunities across the globe?

This company are a leading industrial food and beverage manufacturer, working with high profile brands like Coca Cola, Pepsi, Arla and many more. They are R&D specialists who reinvent the way companies manufacture their products. They provide tailor made machinery solutions to the production process, improving efficiency and overall output for large- and small-scale manufacturing sites.

On offer is the opportunity to become a vital asset to the growth of the business. You will be fully supported to learn how to sell products and consult with clients to fulfil your needs. You will be covering the entire sales life cycle, from lead generation to quotes and tenders. This role requires a technical engineering knowledge, covering a nationwide patch.

This role would suit a Graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar looking to travel across the globe, upskilling into a full fledged Sales Manager.
