Job Description Graduate Sales Engineer / Graduate Sales Executive / Graduate Sales Support Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Graduate Sales Engineer / Graduate Sales Executive / Graduate Sales Support Engineer shall be responsible for technical advice, generating quotations, order processing, expediting, documentation, proposals, and other aspects of customer service for valves, actuators, and similar mechanical engineering products to customers.

The Graduate Sales Engineer / Graduate Sales Executive / Graduate Sales Support Engineer will ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree with a strong interest in pursuing a career in engineering sales and a willingness to learn. Full product training will be provided.

Role

• Provide technical advice and guidance on valve-related product selection according to customer needs.
• Generate and provide quotations and proposals for valves, actuators, and similar mechanical engineering products.
• Support other Sales Engineers and handle all aspects of customer service, including order processing, expediting, and documentation.
• Learn all aspects of administration, including order processing, invoicing, and checking order confirmations.
• Offer product specifications, customer service, and after-sales support for valve products.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Office based in Tewkesbury.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn about new engineering products and solutions. Full product training will be provided.
• Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment, especially mechanical or industrial engineering products, is advantageous.
• A Mechanical Engineering Degree with a strong interest in pursuing a career in engineering sales and a willingness to learn with a global manufacturer.
• Confidence to chase leads, hunt for new business, and drive sales of mechanical engineering products and services.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be commutable to Tewkesbury.
