Qualifications

• A degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related subject (or are due to graduate this year).
• Great communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Safety Adviser to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) team, supporting projects across our water infrastructure frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures across operational sites
• Assist in conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Help identify and assess risks, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies
• Participate in incident investigations and support the reporting and analysis of findings
• Collaborate with project teams to promote a positive safety culture and raise awareness of best practices
• Contribute to toolbox talks, safety briefings and training sessions
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to health, safety and environmental performance
• Learn how to interpret legislation and industry standards, and apply them in a practical, operational context
• Visit sites regularly to gain hands-on experience and understand the challenges and opportunities in delivering safe infrastructure projects
