Job summary

Axcis Education in Caerphilly is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join its team as Learning Support Assistants. You will support diverse learners, provide 1:1 and small-group help, and help create an inclusive learning environment with experienced staff.

These roles offer flexible full-time and part-time hours with immediate starts, ongoing training, and opportunities to explore careers in education, psychology, SEND, youth work, or related fields.

We are working with specialist schools and other alternative settings across Caerphilly, who are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join their teams as Learning Support Assistants. We welcome graduates from a range of backgrounds, including: Psychology, Sports and Sports Science, Creative Arts and Performing Arts, Criminology, Languages, Education and Teaching, Sociology and other social science subjects, Other degree subjects where you have a passion for working with young people.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting children and young people with additional needs in the classroom
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Helping pupils engage with learning and develop independence
