University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a new graduate radiographer to deliver accurate radiotherapy treatments and explain complex information to patients and carers. You will rotate through all sections of the department under a section leader and supervise students.

The role requires a BSc in Radiotherapy or equivalent and eligibility to register with the HCPC, plus experience in caring environments and with modern radiotherapy techniques. NHS experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• Eligible to register with the HCPC.
• Experience in a caring environment.
• Experience with modern radiotherapy techniques.
• Experience dealing with the general public.

Responsabilités

• Deliver accurate radiotherapy by interpreting treatment plans.
• Explain complex treatment information to patients and carers.
• Communicate between radiotherapy and other healthcare teams.
• Liaise with outpatient and inpatient chemotherapy departments.
• Supervise students and rotate through department sections.
